FITNESS CENTER

Hours of Operation:

Monday thru Friday:  5:30 am  - 9:00 pm

Saturday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Sunday: Closed

Membership or a day pass is required for entrance into the facility. The fitness center features treadmills, elliptical cross trainers, recumbent bikes, upright cycles, leg press, leg extension and seated leg curl machines, free weights and more. Treadmills and ellipticals are equipped with individual 15" LCD personal viewing screens and earphone ports.

Age Requirements: 12 years & younger are not allowed in the fitness center, 13-17 years may use fitness center but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 yrs or older, 18+ years may have full use of facility.

How to become a member/purchase a day pass to the Fitness Center

To purchase a membership or day pass, please visit the Clute Parks Department front desk, located at 100 Parkview Drive.

Day Pass Fee:

Child (13 -17 yrs) - $3.00

Adult (18 -59 yrs) - $5.00

Senior (60+) - $3.00

*Active duty military and veterans will be charged at the senior rate

Family memberships are up to six persons within immediate family - living at the same address does not automatically qualify as family.

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Debit cards and or money orders/cashiers checks. Please bring current, valid identification when registering for your membership. All adult members of a family must declare and prove residency to be included.

Pool Passes

The pool is closed for the 2020 season due to COVID-19. Please check back next season for pass fees.

Event Center, Pavilion and Pool Party Rentals

All reservations for the Pavilions, Pool, Event Center, Gazebo, and the Stratton Ridge Sportsplex must be made at the Clute Parks & Recreation Department Office located at 100 Parkview Drive, Clute, Texas.  A deposit is due at the time the reservation is made.  Proof of residency is required for Clute resident rate. Event Center

The event center is currently at 25% capacity. No more than 50 people at a time per event. Due to COVID -19 guidelines all events must have onsite security (security can be rented for $25 an hour), a sanitizing station for guests, and someone to serve food (no buffet style allowed). All tables must be six feet apart with no more than six people per table. A deposit fee is required to hold the reservation.

Our 3,000 foot Clute Event Center is available to rent for all your events. Tables, chairs and a kitchen are included in reservation. The kitchen includes a stove top, oven, two refrigerators and a serving bar. Available to rent during your event are a podium with amplified sound and a projector with screen. A dance floor is also available to rent. The facility has it's own entrance with a reception area.

Event Center Rental Rates:

All Day Resident: 

Deposit - $350

Fee - $450

Extra Fees - $100 alcohol fee, $25 per hour onsite COVID security fee

All Day Non Resident:

Deposit - $350

Fee - $500

Extra Fees - $100 alcohol fee, $25 per hour onsite COVID security fee

Hourly Resident:

Deposit - $350

Hourly Fee - $40

Extra Fees - $100 alcohol fee, $25 per hour onsite COVID security fee

Hourly Non Resident:

Deposit - $350

Hourly Fee - $50

Extra Fees - $100 alcohol fee, $25 per hour onsite COVID security fee

Dance Floor/Projector & Screen Fees:

Small (15' x 15') - $150

Medium (18' x 18') - $200

Large (21' x 21') - $250

Projector/Screen - $150

Additional Details:

  • Anytime alcohol is consumed onsite at the B.R. Hester Event Center, the City of Clute requires a police officer or employee to be hired as security. Until further notice, ALL parties must have security onsite regardless of if they serving alcohol or not due to COVID guidelines. Security can be arranged through the Parks office by calling 979-265-8392. Failure to comply with security policy will result in immediate cancellation of event and forfeiture of all deposits and fees.
  • Hourly rentals are only available during normal business hours, Monday thru Thursday, with a 4 hour minimum.
  • Set up and break down service is available for a fee of $250. Please arrange through the Parks office.
  • Cleaning service is available for a fee of $300. Please arrange through Parks office.

Event Center Rental Policy:

Please call the parks office for details regarding what types of events the event center cannot host, reduced fees for non profit groups, clubs and other similar organizations and fee waivers.

  • All moonwalks/inflatables must be rented from an improved vendor. Please contact Clute Parks and Recreation office for a list of approved vendors.
  • Horseshoe areas are first come, first serve
