FITNESS CENTER
Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday: 5:30 am - 9:00 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
Sunday: Closed
The fitness center is back at full capacity. Masks are encouraged but not required when working out in the fitness center.
Membership or a day pass is required for entrance into the facility. The fitness center features treadmills, elliptical cross trainers, recumbent bikes, upright cycles, leg press, leg extension and seated leg curl machines, free weights and more. Treadmills and ellipticals are equipped with individual 15" LCD personal viewing screens and earphone ports.
Age Requirements: 12 years & younger are not allowed in the fitness center, 13-17 years may use fitness center but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 yrs or older, 18+ years may have full use of facility.
How to become a member/purchase a day pass to the Fitness Center
To purchase a membership or day pass, please visit the Clute Parks Department front desk, located at 100 Parkview Drive.

Event Center, Pavilion and Pool Party Rentals
All reservations for the Pavilions, Pool, Event Center, Gazebo, and the Stratton Ridge Sportsplex must be made at the Clute Parks & Recreation Department Office located at 100 Parkview Drive, Clute, Texas. A deposit is due at the time the reservation is made. Proof of residency is required for Clute resident rate. For further information call 979-265-8392 or 1-800-371-2971.

Event Center
The event center is back open to full capacity. 200 people with tables and chairs and 300 people if auditorium style. A deposit fee is required to hold the reservation.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 am - 1:00 am
Our 3,000-foot Clute Event Center is available to rent for all your events. Tables, chairs and a kitchen are included in reservation. The kitchen includes a stove top, oven, two refrigerators, microwave and a serving bar. We also have a new PA system with available podium and a projector with screen. A dance floor is available to rent and comes in three different sizes. The facility has its own entrance with a reception area.

Additional Details:
- Anytime alcohol is consumed onsite at the B.R. Hester Event Center, the City of Clute requires a police officer or employee to be hired as security. It is $25 per hour for parks and rec staff security (with a 4-hour minimum) and $35 per hour for a police officer. Security must be paid upfront at event. Security can be arranged through the Parks office by calling 979-265-8392. Failure to comply with security policy will result in immediate cancellation of event and forfeiture of all deposits and fees.
- Hourly rentals are only available during normal business hours, Monday thru Thursday, with a 4-hour minimum.
- Set up and break down service is available for a fee of $250. Please arrange through the Parks office.
- Cleaning service is available for a fee of $300. Please arrange through Parks office.
Event Center Rental Policy:
Please call the parks office for details regarding what types of events the event center cannot host, reduced fees for nonprofit groups, clubs and other similar organizations and fee waivers.

* Glass bottles are not allowed in any of our parks. Alcohol is allowed under pavilions but must stay within pavilion. No confetti allowed.

Pool Rentals
WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY TAKING POOL PARTY RENTALS
The pool may be rented for private pool parties after normal hours any day the pool is open. The pool can be reserved in either 2- or 3-hour blocks by contacting the Clute Parks & Recreation Department at 979-265-8392. A minimum of two lifeguards is required for all private pool parties. Additional lifeguards are required for parties over 50 people. Each lifeguard is paid $10 per hour and must be paid, in CASH, prior to start of party.
