Safe Traffic Stops:<\/strong><\/div>\n

The attached video was created by the Abilene Police Department.\u00a0 It has been endorsed by the Texas Police Chief’s Association.\u00a0 This video was created to help lessen anxiety and increase safety during traffic stops.\u00a0 Traffic stops can be stressful to both citizens and officers because of the many elements of the situation and the unknowns.\u00a0 Through this video we hope to enhance citizen’s knowledge regarding traffic stops and give our citizens a better idea of what to expect during a traffic stop.\u00a0 We hope the video will help us work together to make our community a safer place for all of us.<\/p>\n
