Building Permits

Building permits are required for most types of construction within the City. Prior to commencing any work, please contact the Building Department to determine whether a permit is necessary.

New Residential

Please ensure all applications are completed accurately and in full, including the property owner’s name and address.
For new properties, also provide the lot and block number, as well as the names of the contractors responsible for building, plumbing, and electrical work. Specify plumbing and electrical details, and indicate the requested water meter size if it differs from 3/4 inch.

New Commercial
