The Building and Inspection Department ensures that all land uses conform to the comprehensive land use plan and zoning ordinances, and that all construction in Clute meets all codes adopted by the City.For citizens planning any construction in the City, the following services are available; plan review, permit issuance, inspections, enforcement of related codes and ordinances.
